As alot of you know i bought a 14ft jon a few months ago and ive had a blast with it so far. Ive always loved river fishing and i always hear about people taking their jons into the rivers. My problem is when i think about rivers and jons i think about rocks and sinking, haha, I know that alot of rivers are deep and calm enough for jons, so i need your opinions or knowledge on this. Will i be okay doing this? Do you know of any places close to where im at that will be suitable for jons? I live in Dobson. New river? Yadkin? I will prolly get a yak before its over with and spend alot of time on the moving water, i love fishing the banks of rivers too.
