My best friend and I hit Badin yesterday afternoon for a couple hours of bass fishing in prep for an upcoming tournament there.
We found the water with average clarity for Badin and the temps were in the upper 70s. We got there late afternoon while the sun was still high and targetted docks with tubes and worms and put several in the boat with the largest of the tube fish around 4 pounds.
As the sun set, we fished the docks on the shady side of the creek, tossing a super fluke and a Rapala #11 between the docks and the bass were there, with another one topping off at 4 pounds.
In all, we caught about 10 to 12 fish in 3 and a half hours, with the best 5 going around 14 to 15 pounds.
Another awesome day on the water with my beautiful best friend and fishing partner!
