Well i finally got the girls to take a nap at the same time and got my lil bro to listen for them as i walked down to the pond at the end of the road, so i grabbed my poles and one of the tackle trays out of the yak crate. Got there and had a Rage Tail Toad tied on already so i started throwing and doing my usual under the tree spots, and nothing so i casted out towards the middle and doin fast retrieves and BAM short strike i stopped it and let it fall and SET the hook!!! pull him in and it was about a pound but still gotta love top water strikes! Then i casted a few more times out in the middle and nothing so i threw back under the trees to the right and SLURP!! rite on the edge of the grass line i set the hook and got him and he was the biggest of the 2 then my toad became a pine tree ornament lol then i started throwing my Alewife panfish assasin and i caught the first crappie out of the pond in 20 yrs!!!
