3.7L, 190hp, stator charge, battery in good shape. Thinking it is a bad voltage regulator. Will run great for 15-20 minutes then the engine will die...then the battery is too weak to restart. Also lights dim a LOT when I crank engine. Will charge the battery to 100% and it will run down to about 50% or so when it dies....I amthinking the battery is not getting charged while engine is running? I am going to switch to an alternator set up though...no doubt about that. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you
