Well Jordan was a bust today on the catfish. I spent about 7 hours and had less than a dozen bites with only one 2lber landed. It started off pretty windy then it laid down for a couple hours with a nice breeze. It was hard to find shad at my usual spot with the wind pushing me off as soon as I got positioned just right. I managed to pick up about 20 nice 3-4" gizzards and one about 12". I drifted the mouths of the creeks at the main body, get pushed as far to the shore as I felt comfortable and then I'd reset it again. I tried 20' all the way to 3', nothing much happening out there for me. Anyone see that car's front end ripped off at the parking lot. I got back to the ramp and people were talking about it. I passed by it on the way out. I guess someone hugged their trailer a LITTLE too close to that SUV. Whole front end was hanging by a bracket. I did see a paper tucked under the windshield wiper though, so I assume they left a contact and insurance info. I'd hate to see the expression on whom ever owns that car when they get back...I would not be a happy camper. Hope some of you guys faired better than I did with the fish. I guess spending time with the Mrs. has to count for something.
