Was out on Harris with my wife Friday night after the rain passed...engine died, battery dead. Two bass boats a couple hundred yards away, part of a tournament that night. Blew the wistle, and the horn, flashed lights only to be ignored. Had to call a friend that was sleeping to come tow me back to the ramp.
If you were out there that night, part of that tournament on the North end of the lake...shame on you.
Just so everyone is clear, when you are on the water and you hear or see a signal you are required by law to go assist. I know that bass tournaments are precious but whoever it was is lucky I did not have my flare gun.
We got back to the ramp and looks like the weigh in had just finished. I hope whoever it was had a great night fishing
