managed seven nice keeper spanish within a mile of masonboro inlet;) using a #1 planer,gold 0 clark spoons also a silver with a green back spoon,almost everytime in 40 feet water. :Has anyone ever noticed how spring spanish are a little less flavorful than fall/september spanish..:rolleyes: never the less still a good table fare:p They where in the frying pan within 12 hours of getting caught which included a drive back to fatalville,nc(fayetteville)I believe the fresher the better:D
