My buddy and I went this morning. Fished from 7-11. Water temp was around 84°, and the water was alot clearer than I thought it'd be. We caught 2, one on a pop-r at 7:30, and another on a weightless fluke at 10. Both were caught on the grasslines. First fish was a dink, the second was around 2lbs. We tried near the dam at those circulaters, saw some decent ones on depthfinder but couldn't get them in the boat. I think they were hybrids and not largemouth. I tried deep cranks, c-rigged worms near those spots, no bites. As far as other spots, tried the big shallow cove on the left going up the lake with no success throwing a shaky head, spinnerbait, Buzzbait, spook, frog mostly on the grass lines and laydowns.
Overall, would like another shot at it since this was our first time out there. There is a serious lack of structure in the places we fished. Most of the lake seems flat with gentle slopes and no drop offs or big structure for fish to relate to. I need to spend some time cruising glued to the depth finder to find some better places, bc I know they're out there somewhere.
