Help With A Glove

I hope everyone is doing well, about a month ago I had an accident with some hot plastic (I manufactor plastic baits). I ended up with 2nd degree burns on my middle finger and 3rd degree burns to my index finger, its been a month since the accident and I got the ok from the doctor at the burn center to get in the river and back on the yak. The problem is that I have to keep a heavy coat of sunblock on my finger, but even doing this it is still very sun sensitive. Could someone recomend a non expensive and light colored glove that I can cut all of the fingers off except the index finger? I tried the local Wal Mart and they really dont have any thing, I dont guess that this is the right time of the year to be looking for gloves, any help or suggestions would be appriciated. I've lost the whole month of July and i'm ready to catch a smallie and I dont won't to fish with one greasy finger.
