We are heading to topsail tomorrow. We are gonna be surf fishing and doin some sharkin too. We were gonna try to target some of those big reds. I have never fished for them. I was wondering if anyone could give me a few tips for trying to catch them. Do I need to yak bait out like when shark fishing or do they come in the shallows more. What is best cut bait for them? Setup like a flounder rig?
Would we be better off fishing the north end near the inlet or south end near the end? Thanks!!
