Thought I better get a post going on what will be our 2nd Black Friday fish-together.
It's just kinda started itself last year and we had about 17 paddlers come out!
Let the rest fight over the deals and come fish on the Catawba ( @ "Bobbys" where the Hardcore Tourney is held) hang out and fish the we will all meet up for riverbank cooking and socializing.
We met on a bank last year but considering maybe we should just do it in the lot this year. We won't have to carry it all with us and will be easier if people want to bring grills, chairs, etc.
We can talk about that part.
Just bring whatever you want to cook. I'm planning on my wok and another new gadget I have that makes a mean meat fondue. Probably be some goose, rabbit and wild Maitake mushroom ( thanks to Brownale) for the sake of variety.
