Had the day off yesturday actually a few days off in a row lol ,put the word out that i was gonna fish and had a seat available but as luck would have it everyone was busy or working
so off i went in the search some good trout since the day before didnt seem to be too fruitful in many sizeable trout did mange 2 for a few hours that day.
so i was bent on catching a good limit of trout even if i was by myself,i headed out armed with soft plastics and many colored mirror lures in 17 mrs 14 mrs and 52ms,my color of choice was gonna be the 17mr808
hit the first spot where i saw a good school of them the other day and on the first cast grabbed a nice speck at 18 inches :D BUT after that i couldnt buy another bite in that hole nothing worked grubs gulp or mirror lure,so off i went a little further and began casting again.
wham a puppy drum on the 17mr808 second cast another nice speck just over 18 inches then nothing again.
since there was no one around on the water where i was i headed into a hole i fished last fall and started to fish more with the 808 and it was MAGIC almost every cats i was hooking keeper trout and throwing 19 and 20 inch fish back.
after going to jeffrey weeks funeral and hearing a tale of a day of fishing no one would belive i laughed and thought of him and started to video the antics going on where i was,you can plainly see in the video if i missed a fish i would let it ride a bit and another would grab it the video is 14.50 something long but here it is and i honored piratesaboard who so calmly calls me the do nothing fisherman hahaha.

i ended up with over a half hour of video but could only get 14.52 minutes off my phone, for 3 hours or less i put trout after trout in the boat from 16 to 20 inches and well over 60 fish for those hours and took 4 for dinner ;)
as i was taught this time of the year the less you do with your baits the better your fishing is gonna be or should i say catching
took these four home the board is 20 inches wide :D
