Went back to last weeks hotspot-even with the rumors that nets had been in there this week- with my usual drum fishing partner back in the boat primed for some specks. We caught and missed speck after speck on MR 27's ,MR17's in EC and Silver, small X raps, rootbeer/chartruese DOA paddletails(no love on Opening Night this week), Chartruese Billy Bay Shrimp-dead sticked again, and even some live pins and mullet. No keepers though, most were really small or right at 14, and two flounder just under 15 ![]()
Lots of traffic but everyone was civil. Got checked by the man, first one I have seen in a john boat and some dudes got very lucky - they just missed him by minutes.
