Anybody Kayak the Haw River in Alamance County?

I am hoping to do some fishing on the Haw next spring so this weekend my son and I went out and checked out some of the access points in western Alamance County. I was surprised at what we found. I was expecting nice sandy areas for take outs and put in but didn't see much like that. Some of the access points are metal staircases into the water and some are huge rocks on the water. Maybe it is just me but taking in and out 2 12' SOT yaks looks almost impossible at some of the points. Can you guys give am an idea of what points you are using and how you are getting the yaks in and out of the water?
