Spent a pleasant afternoon on the big D. Lots of rising fish, but I had trouble all day getting a good clean hook set. Still managed to eke out a nice 19-20" holdover, and a gorgeous 17" wild brown. 3" Gulp on a swimbait head did the trick again. Got into a nice wild bow with real pretty colors, but he spit the bit about 4 feet in the air. I'm having the slow the presentation down quite a bit to get strikes, but the fish aren't sluggish at all once you get 'em on the hook.
