Well took the wife and the little one out with me today for a little Christmas Eve fishing trip. After stopping to buy some shiners and finding out that the quarry in Maysville got shut down I though the rest of the day would surely be bad to, but that proved to be wrong. Got to the pond about 2:30 and got the first line out. Within the first 10 minutes we missed 2 hits and I caught one largemouth on the wife's pole while she was tending to our daughter. Soon as she got back she caught one on my pole while I was getting her more bait. We left a little after 5, caught 9 largemouth all together the biggest being 13in and the smallest being 10in. I caught 2, the wife 3 and my baby caught 4. All were released to be caught again. All in all a great day of fishing with the family.
