Headed to Hillsville VA to a cabin nearby. Cabin was right next to the stream, found out after the trip it was a known and stocked stream. Water was really cold (probably helped with the skunk). Spooked a few but didn't really see anything. With two days of fishing and not even a nibble we decided to head out. Great scenery though. Loved the place, not a crazy soul around. Would have been great to hook one though!

I figured this hole would have had something good but I didn't see or catch a thing.....
Any ideas as to why? I was using everything. Is it too early? I know the water was around 40F.
