New 2 Fishing

Hello Everyone,

I've been wanting to go fishing for a while and finally have the time and money to do so.

I'll will start out fishing around the Triangle, Falls Lake ,Shearon Harris,Neuse River, and possibly Badin Lake when I visit Uwharrie.

I'm trying to start on a $100-$150 budget. I've been looking at the Shimano Sahara FD reel, and I don't know which rod I should get.

I can't wait to get out there! :)
