Went to the favorite golf course pond with the roommate and the new to me jon boat, a bucket of crickets, and my bass tackle. After the first 15 or 20 minutes we lost count between bream and bass. Some chunker bream were caught, lots of bigguns a few well over a pound. Most of the bass were small 12-15 inchers. Did find a couple of leaks in the new to me jon...instant livewell! Only had to pull her up on shore and dump water once an hour and a half into it and then again as we pulled the boat out. Probably caught 30+ fish in right about 3 hours. Great day on the water and got back to my childhood fishing days, fishing with Dad at granny's pond with a bucket of crickets and a bobber... always tons of fun no matter how old you get or how experienced of a fisherman you may be. I wanted to do some serious bass fishing but I kept getting distracted with the little disappearing float. By far the best day on the water I have had in a while, leaky boat and all.
