My family had the pleasure of hosting a few fellow Red Xers for a 2 1/2 day fish-a-thon last week. Ray(Raymond Wells), Darrell(Dbeam) & Ras(SnowCamp) joined us for a day and a half fishing on Hyco before the Eno float.
We started Thursday afternoon trolling for crappie. The rain passed but the wind didn't. Still managed about 40 fish, including Ray's first white bass..........

Friday Darrell, Ray & Ras braved the wind in the yaks while grandson #1 & I took a stab at the crappie.
We managed 71 smallish crappie and a cat casting jigs to brush............

sometimes 2-3 fish at a time.

The bass didn't cooperate as well for the guys but it was tough to even get a good cast off in that wind.
Of course Ray did find at least one bucket mouth(5.8lb).
