Headed back to the bass pond Wed afternoon and Thursday morning. It didn't seem any difference on the lure that was cast, the bass hit em all. I started out casting a "Big Bites" Black Neon w/Chart tail (black with red flake/chartreuse tail) Senko. The bass were smashing it. Not big fish but lots of them.

As I went down the pond the winds calmed down so I grabbed the flyrod. I tied a fly I call the "Golden Shiner". It is made of a 3407 #4 hook with yellow synthetic fibers and copper flashabou with google eyes. After several casts I was rewarded with a hit...:) After a few more casts the winds picked back up and I went back to the spinning rod.

I continued to fish and catch fish. Then I switched over to a Rapala Rippin Rap. This one is RCW..Red Crawdad. I love the colors on this, olive back with bright orange belly. I've used lots of orange rattle trap type baits and the bass love em. I evened up with about 4 on this lure.

Right before dark the winds calmed down enough to try the Spro frog again. Good guess, the bass were gourging on it...:) I caught another 6 or so on the frog and lost as many. Still I love catching em on topwater.

I also cast a Zoom lizard today and caught fish with it also.
I saw a lot of bream beds that had been used. No fish were on the beds so that means they have spawned out. I'll check em out in the next week or so with some crickets and bream busters...:)
