I tie up a small floam bug for bluegills. I tie it on a # 8 hook. With some of the bugs, I have a lot of trouble with line twist, mainly in the tippet. I sm thinking the legs are causing the problem, but not sure. Doesn't seem to be as bad with some of the buigs as with other, all tied mostly alike. I do tie in lots of legs, and they are fairly long. Seems to attrack gills a lot better. It could be the length of the legs. Anyone have any knowledge of this, and a cure for the prob. The prob is worse when I am not catching many fish, and make a lot of cast without catching.
