Not much to say. It was slow today, at least for me and the two people I talked to at the ramp. Beautiful day, but the fish just weren't where I found them a few days prior. I spent the first couple of hours trying some new spots I'd been thinking about, but when they only resulted in a couple missed hooksets, I moved to an area that is typically a little more productive. I caught 6 total but 3 were little dinks, and the others were probably 1 to 1 and 1/2 pounds. The small ones were on a PopR, the regular ones on a zoom texas rigged worm on laydowns, and one from under a mat of floating grass/weeds near a secondary creek.
Knocked off about 1 and came on home to get some work done around the house. Washed the hull of the boat, mowed my and my neighbor's lawn, got some leaves up, cleaned out the chicken coop, and cleaned up some baby bottles and dishes. :D
Funny how a day off is not typically really a day "off."
