Had the pleasure of haveing GIRKMAN out today along with david getz to try and get some more trout today.
Weather was windy 25 to 30 mph with harder gust ,water was mirky to say the least from all the wind the last few days, but we were bound and determined to catch some fish.
We hit the water around 11:30 am and headed up to my favorite spot for the last few days of non stop catching of good keeper trout.
Armed with mirror lures (17 mr 808's) we anchored up and started to sling lures,it was slow at first with me haulin in all the small trout for half an hour then picking a keeper at 16, the fish were scattered at first with the tide still comming in and i knew it wasnt gonna pick up until the tide turned to out going.
around 1:30 pm the tide showed it was gonna start going out and the fish started to show they were ready to play and it this time the rain started to become heavier and more steady,BUT,we were catchin here and there so we stuck it out.
By 2:30,3:00 pm we had all three limits of keeper trout and were able to cull out some of the smaller fish for larger ones, when all was said and done we went home with three limits of specks from 16 to 20 inches
It was by far a great weather day but it was a good day for specks, thanks for comming out daniel it was good to have ya aboard the revenge,we will do it again soon ;)
the catch of the day for biggest trout goes to dave getz and to me the smallest of the day at around 8 inches or less lol
