Decided that Sat night I would fish since the woman had me working on her task list all day. Got some minnows and set up the light around 5, didnt finally start fishing until 8ish. It started off hot and heavy with the bait barely able to make it down, but slowed down to a fish every 5-10 mins or so. We were fishing over brush in 20'+ of water. I also kept a filet soaking and caught a couple nice eating size cats. Around 11 I was cold enough to give it up, I had around 6-7 nice ones in the well, but decided I was too lazy to clean them so they were all released to live another day. Nothing to write home about, but it was a good night either way. I did get to see some of the boat parade. There was one boat completely covered top to bottom and had his lights timed to music. Pretty impressive, although I figured anyone on board would have a siezure from all the blinking lights. Merry Christmas!
