New fisherman looking for places to fish

Hello everyone,
Its been years since ive fished and over the weekend i went fishing with family members and of course now im hooked. ive lived in the area for a few years now but have never paid any attention to fishing or any spots in the area. Bass would be my fish of choice at the moment and i do not have a boat at the time but perhaps in the future. just wondering if anyone knows any good ponds or places i could go in the area. thanks
